Job Description

A Karachi-based bookkeeping firm is urgently seeking to hire an Accounting and tax Executive to serve clients in the United States and Canada. Candidates will be responsible for delivering tailored accounting services to small and medium-sized businesses. We are seeking a career-oriented, adaptable, and self-motivated individual who is eager to acquire new skills. Job Responsibilities: Perform monthly and quarterly bookkeeping tasks for various clients, including data entry, bank reconciliation, and journal entries. Prepare and submit sales tax returns, and payroll tax returns, and manage payroll for multiple clients. Compile business and individual tax returns. Requirements: Possess a solid background in Accounting and tax, preferably with a bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience. Demonstrate exceptional communication skills. Exhibit a work-dependent approach rather than being strictly time-dependent. Possess a working knowledge and substantial experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks (QB), QuickBooks Online (QBO), Excel, Sage 50, Wave, and Xero (experience with these platforms would be advantageous).
