Rozee.pk vs Mustakbil vs LinkedIn vs Indeed: Where Should Pakistani Employers Post Jobs in 2026?

The short answer
There is no single best job posting site in Pakistan for employers. Rozee and Mustakbil are the big local boards, and both have free and paid options. LinkedIn suits professional and senior roles, but you only get one free job at a time. Indeed lets Pakistani employers post free jobs with no monthly limit at the moment. Most teams get the best results by posting each role on two or three of these, picked to suit the role.
This guide is for HR teams, founders and hiring managers in Pakistan deciding where to post jobs. We checked every price on 30 October 2026 and link to the source. Where a site does not publish a price, we say so.
The four sites at a glance
Rozee.pk | Mustakbil | Indeed (pk.indeed.com) | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|
Free option | Free posting advertised; 3 free Featured Jobs a month announced Oct 2026 | Free basic listing | One free job at a time | Free jobs, no monthly limit in Pakistan at present |
How paid works | Credits per job (Featured, Top Job) | Pay per job ad (Boost) or monthly plan | Promote: pay per click against a budget | Sponsor: daily budget set by you |

Paid placement | Top Job: 10 days on the main page | 3, 10 or 30 days on the homepage | Until you close it, budget runs out, or 6 months | While sponsored and within budget |
Best for | Volume and mid-level local roles | Local roles on a rupee budget | Professional, specialist and senior roles | Broad reach, including people searching outside local boards |

Rozee.pk: free posting, paid credits for more reach
Rozee is one of Pakistan's best-known job portals. Its employer site says it has 185,500 employers and over 46 million applications (hiring.rozee.pk), and the page itself is titled "Post a Job Free".
Paid posting works on credits, one per job. These are the prices on Rozee's job posting packages page, loaded from Pakistan on 30 October 2026. They exclude government taxes and duties:
Package | Price (PKR, excl. taxes) | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
Featured Job, 1 credit | 7,500 | "Access to all applicants CVs", applicant filter, InstaMatch suggested candidates |
Featured Job, 3 credits | 14,000 | Same, for three jobs |
Featured Job, 10 credits | 28,000 | Same, for ten jobs |
Top Job, 1 credit | 12,500 | Your job on the main page with your logo for 10 days, plus the Featured tools |
CV Search, one month | 45,000 | Search Rozee's CV database and download up to 2,000 CVs |
Rozee notes that these prices apply only to purchases from within Pakistan. Its Premium Select and Top Employer packages show "Contact Sales" with no public price.
The October 2026 offer. On 7 October 2026, Rozee announced on LinkedIn: "Rs. 17,000 → Rs. 0. 3 Featured Jobs. Every Month. FREE.", with posting through rozeegpt.ai (Rozee on LinkedIn). We could not find published terms for how long the offer runs or who qualifies, so confirm it in your account before you plan around it.
Keep in mind: Rozee sells paid credits on the promise of access to all applicants' CVs, so check what a free post actually shows you before relying on it. Some employers have also complained publicly about the posting experience. One r/pakistan poster said their job stayed "under review" (r/pakistan).
Mustakbil: free listings and rupee prices on the page
Mustakbil has run a Pakistani job portal since 2004 and says it has more than 100,000 employers and 15 million applications (Mustakbil for employers). It publishes its employer prices in PKR, with tax included, and you don't need an account to see them.
A basic listing is free. To get more applicants, you buy a "Boost" for one job ad (Mustakbil job posting packages, checked 30 October 2026):
Package | Price (tax incl.) | Days on the homepage | Invites to matching candidates |
|---|---|---|---|
Boost 3 | PKR 5,250 | 3 | 100 |
Boost 10 | PKR 10,500 | 10 | 300 |
Boost 30 | PKR 15,750 | 30, top of search | 500 |
Mustakbil says a Boost brings "about 3× to 10× more applicants than a basic listing". That is its own claim, not an independent figure. If a Boost brings fewer than 5 applicants, you can run it again free. Sending applicants to your own careers page needs Boost 30.
If you hire every month, Mustakbil Pro is PKR 10,500 a month and includes one Boost 3 a month, 35 CV contact unlocks, AI ranking of every applicant and 3 team seats. Pro Plus is PKR 24,900 a month. On the free account, AI screening covers a preview of the first 25 applicants per job.
Keep in mind: Mustakbil's pages don't mention posting your job to LinkedIn, Indeed or Google Jobs, so your reach is Mustakbil's own audience.
LinkedIn: one free job, then pay per click
LinkedIn is where your company page lives, so candidates can see who you are before they apply. The free tier is narrow: one active free job at a time, a limited number of free jobs in any 30 days, hidden from search after an applicant limit that "typically ranges from 10 to 30", and paused after 14 days (LinkedIn Help). We explain these rules in detail in why your free LinkedIn job post stops getting applicants.
To go further, you promote the job. You pay per click from candidates (LinkedIn Help), and "your final cost will depend on the amount of demand for your job" (LinkedIn Help). LinkedIn's own example is a $10 daily budget over 30 days costing "$300 or less" (Hiring Pro pricing).
Pakistan price: not published. LinkedIn does not publish a cost for promoting a job in Pakistan, and we found no credible figure. It does accept Pakistani rupees (LinkedIn Help), so the number to plan with is the budget LinkedIn recommends when you click Promote. Set a total budget so spending has a hard cap.
Indeed in Pakistan: free posts that last longer
Indeed runs a Pakistan site at pk.indeed.com with an employer help centre. Its free job rules are more generous in Pakistan than in the US or UK. According to Indeed's Free Job Post Policy, checked 30 October 2026, Pakistan is one of the countries where free jobs "show for up to 120 days" and where there is no free job post limit "at this time". In countries such as the US and UK, it is 3 free jobs a month, each shown for up to 30 days.
There are conditions. Your employer account must be verified before jobs go live, and Indeed "may reject or remove jobs... at any time and for any reason" (Indeed Help). Posts that miss its quality standards "may be hidden, removed, or require sponsorship" (Job Posting Quality Standards). So write a clear title, include pay and duties, and skip the all-caps "URGENT HIRING".
Sponsored jobs: no price list. Indeed says sponsored jobs get more visibility when similar jobs compete for the same candidates. You pick Indeed's recommended daily budget or a custom one, and Indeed says plainly: "There's no fixed public price list" (Indeed Help). Minimum daily budgets vary by market. You are invoiced monthly, or sooner if you hit your billing threshold (Indeed Help). We found no published Pakistan figure.
A Lahore example: three roles, one month
Say a 60-person trading company in Lahore needs a Sales Executive, an Accounts Officer and a Senior Software Engineer in November. Here is what each site would charge, using only published prices, checked 30 October 2026:
Site | What the three roles would cost |
|---|---|
Mustakbil | Free basic listings, or a Boost 10 on each: 3 × PKR 10,500 = PKR 31,500, tax included (Mustakbil says buying several ads lowers the price of each at checkout). Boost 3 on each would be PKR 15,750. |
Rozee.pk | 3 Featured Job credits: PKR 14,000 plus taxes. Possibly free if the October 2026 "3 free Featured Jobs a month" offer applies to your account. |
One role free (until it hits the applicant limit or 14 days). The other two need promotion at a budget you set; no published Pakistan price. | |
Indeed | All three can go up free with no monthly limit at present. Sponsoring is optional, at a daily budget you choose. |
You can't add these up into one neat total. Mustakbil's prices include tax and Rozee's don't, and LinkedIn and Indeed set paid prices by auction. The trade-off: local boards give you fixed prices to budget for, while LinkedIn and Indeed give you free entry points but no fixed price for paid visibility.
A sensible split for this company: the Senior Software Engineer on LinkedIn (free slot, promoted only if the free post stalls) and Indeed; the Sales Executive and Accounts Officer on Indeed plus one local board. That means applicants arriving in three different dashboards.
How to choose: match the site to the role
Senior, specialist or tech roles: start with LinkedIn, where candidates can see your company page, and add Indeed. Promote on LinkedIn only for the role that really needs it, with a total budget.
Volume and mid-level roles (sales, accounts, admin, customer service): use a local board (Rozee or Mustakbil) plus Indeed's free post. Pay for a Boost or Featured credit only on roles you need filled fast.
Tight budget: Mustakbil's free listing, Indeed's free post and your one free LinkedIn job cost nothing. Spend only where applicants are thin.
Don't forget Google. Google's job search is available in Pakistan (Google Search Central), and candidates can find your job there if it is set up for it.
Write once, well. A clear title, location, salary range and must-haves help on every site. Weak posts can be hidden on Indeed.
Decide where applicants will be reviewed before you post. Three sites means three inboxes. Pick one place to screen, or good candidates get missed. Our guide to shortlisting 200 CVs in an afternoon covers the screening side.
Where Taraki fits
We make Taraki, so weigh that when reading this section. Taraki is not a job board, and it doesn't replace Rozee or Mustakbil. It solves the problem that comes after choosing sites: posting the same job several times and screening applicants spread across dashboards.
When you post a job on Taraki, it is published to your own company's LinkedIn page and appears in LinkedIn job search. The same post is distributed automatically to Google Jobs and Indeed. You pay one flat monthly fee with no hidden fees: Silver includes 3 job posts a month and Gold has unlimited job posts, and both post to your company LinkedIn page. See pricing for current plans.
Everyone who applies lands in one applicant tracking pipeline, whichever site they came from. AI scoring gives every applicant a score against your job and ranks them, so you start with the strongest candidates. You can email candidates through Gmail and schedule Google Meet interviews without leaving Taraki.
What Taraki does not do: it doesn't post to Rozee or Mustakbil, and it doesn't buy promoted LinkedIn or sponsored Indeed placement for you. If a local board suits a role, keep using it alongside Taraki.
